I hesitate to mention this film because it doen't really meet the criteria of "BAD MOVIE", it's really quite good, but it's plot is silly enough to qualify and not a lot of people have seen it.
Elvis is alive and well (maybe) in a rest home in east Texas, but nobody believes he is who he says he is. The home is set upon by an undead creature that sucks the souls of the dying out through their......well, just guess. Elvis' friend and comrade in arms is none other than JFK, who had part of his brain removed and was dyed black to hide his true identity.
Elvis is played wonderfully and with respect by B Movie Champion Bruce Campbell.
JFK is played by film, stage and TV icon Ossie Davis.
It just doesn't get any better than this!

Entry Criteria
Welcome everyone to my first blog!
Excuse the topic, it's the fastest thing I could think of. (This is a class, after all.)
The criteria is easy: Mention a movie you're almost ashamed to admit that you like and why. Mention a few pieces of trivia about the film.
My first entry is an easy one for me. "The Last Dragon" is probably my favorite bad movie.
The plot is a traditional one for martial arts films. The hero is a student seeking a master to learn the "ultimate technique", in this case Bruce Green, a.k.a. Bruce Leroy is seeking a master to learn "the golden glow".
His arch enemy, and I'm not making this up, is Sho'nuff the Shogun of Harlem. This part, played by Julius Carry, is played so over the top as to be brilliant. Best line - "Kiss my converse!"
Taimak, who played the hero, Bruce Leroy, actually learned how to act while the camera was rolling. It shows, but considering his inexperience, not too bad for my favorite bad movie.
The film also has acadamy award nominee, and two time SAG award winner William H. Macey playing the love interests busness manager. The love interest is played by Vanity, who does the mandatory MTV style video.
The film's a cult classic, so next time you get an opportunity, give it a chance!
